Besan burfi is the traditional indian sweet.Preparation of besan ki barfi differ by states.In Tamilnadu preparation of besan burfi is differ from north indian food recipe.In north india,they are using raw besan flour for making this besan burfi.But here i am using roasted gram dal flour for making thi besan burfi recipe. It's gives more taste compare to besan flour burfi.Usually burfi prepared by caramelaized sugar only.Same ways here also using.Caramelized sugar only gives the strongest burfi.Roasted gram dal flour we can make it at home.no need to buy out.Besan flour is nothing but unroasted gram dal,make a powder.But roasted gram dal powder gives more taste compare to unroasted gram dal.Let's see how to make besan ki burfi at home.

INCRIDIENTS

Roasted gram dal - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Gratted coconut - 1/4 cup
Cardamom - 3
Ghee - 2 spoon

INSTRUCTIONS

* To begin besan burfi recipe,add cup of roasted gram dal into a mixer jar and make a fine powder without any lumps.

* In a hot pan,add half cup of sugar and half cup of water.And also add cardamom powder.Mix the sugar and water well till sugar get caremelaized.

* If the sugar get caramelized add half cup of grated coconut and mix it well with the caremelaized sugar.

* Add roasted gram flour little by little  in the caramelized sugar mix.While adding the flour mix it well without any lumps.

* Then add two table spoon of ghee and mix it well.

* Transfer the mixer into ghee applied plate.

* Make a shape and cut into pieces. Leave it for 2 hours getting hard.

* Now besan ki burfi ready to serve.Store it in a air tight container and keep it for 15 days.Best evening time snacks for kids.

Note :

* When making besan burfi keep the flame on low for getting better result.
* You can add jaggerry instead of white sugar.
