How to make egg puff without oven is easy to prepare at home.Egg puff is the best chat item in outside food.But without oven we can't make it,so here i just show how to cook egg puff without oven with same taste of outside one.Usually all of them like to prefer home made only.But without oven it's not possible to make any puffs.But here we will see how to make egg puff.And also making of puff pastry is very difficult for all.In this article i am showing how to make puff pastry at home also.Normally puffs are crispy outside and layered inside.Reason for this layered puff is the process of making puff pastry only.For preparing filling also very easiest one.


Egg puff making process at home is easy one.But without oven preparation technique is little tough for some one. Let's see how to prepare egg puff without oven in Tamil.

Cooking Time : 1 hour

Preparation Time : 30 minutes

Serves : 3 members

INCRIDIENTS

Boiled eggs - 2
Maida - 250 gram
Butter - 50 gram
Baking soda-1/2 spoon
Onion - 1 finely chopped
Tomato -1 finely chopped
Garam masala - 1 spoon
Red chilly powder - 1/2 spoon
Turmeric powder
Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 spoon
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Oil
Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

* To begin egg puff, we want to prepare puff pastry first.Let's see how to prepare puff pastry.

* For making puff pastry, In a large bowl add Cup of maida,salt,butter and baking soda one by one.

* Mix all the above incridients well.While mixing add water little by little.Mix it well like a dough.Now maida dough is ready.Then leave it for 30 minutes.

* After 30 minutes ,roll the dough on the table.Then cut the maida dough into four pieces.

* Dust some maida flour on the table.Take a piece of dough and place it on the table.Roll it well like a thin paper.while rolling apply some of the oil and roll it well.Roll all the dough one by one.

* Apply some melted butter on the top of rolled maida dough.

* Take one more rolled maida dough and place it on the butter applied maida dough.Then apply some butter on the top of maida dough.Do same process for all dough.Minimum have to make four layer from this maida dough.Maximum six layers you can make.

* Now Puff pastry is ready and fold it and keep it in a flip flop back or plastic cover.And also keep it in a freezer for 30 minutes. If you keep the puff pastry in the freezer you can use it for one month.

* After 30 minutes ,take the puff pastry from the refrigerator and leave it for 10 minutes. Then only our puff pastry comes normal temperature.

* Dust some flour on top of the table.place the puff pastry on the table.Roll it well like thin sheet and cut into four equal size pieces. Cut the corner for getting square shape.

* It's a time to prepare onion gravy for filling.

* In a hot pan,add five spoon of oil.if the oil gets heat,add ginger garlic paste,green chilly ,finely chopped onion,finely chopped tomatoes,garam masala powder,red chilly powder and required salt one by one and fry it well in the oil till get mash.If you feel dry while saute the above incridients add little water and fry.

* Take the boiled eggs and cut into two pieces. 

* Place the onion gravy in a piece of puff pastry.And then place the egg on the gravy. 

* Fold those corners of the puff pastry and make a square shape.Do the same thing for all the puffs.

* Apply some melted butter on the top of all the puffs.Now the puffs are ready to bake.

* Before cooking the puff, preheat the cooker for 10 minutes .Before preheating the cooker fill some salt or sand in the bottom. And also remove gasket and whistle from the cooker.Then close the cooker and preheat for 10 minutes at low flame.

* In a cooker idli plate apply some melted butter. Then place it inside the cooker.If you are using cooker idli plate no need to place a plate top of the salt.Because the idli plate have stand.if your using another plate, you place some plate on the top of salt.

* After preheating the cooker,place the puff on the plate and close the cooker.Cook it gor 30 minutes at low flame.Remove gasket and whistle from the cooker.

* Now egg puff is ready to serve hot.Best time to serve egg puffs at evening tea time or morning.

Note:

*For making puff pastry you want to uae more butter don't skip to add butter.

*Pre heat the cooker for 10 minutes.

*You can use sand instead of sand.

*Try to use old unwanted cooker.
