Potato fingers are best evening time snacks.Kids favorite snacks always made feom potatoes only.crispy potato fingers are just fried in the hot oil and serve it with hot crispness. For making shape of the potato finger is the important thing.Potato fingers usually made from boiled potatoes.For getting crispy potato fingers you can use egg or breadcrumbs. Breadcrumbs gives sweet and crispy to the potato fingers. Potato finger fry my all time favorite snack recipe. 


In this potato finger fry inside could be soft and outside is so crispy .This is the speciality for Potato finger chips.Compare to potato cutlets,Potato finger recipe is the more tastier.Let's see how to make crispy potato fingers with soften inside.

Cook Time :10 minutes
Preparation Time :20 minutes
Serves: 3 members

INCRIDIENTS

Potatoes - 1
Corn flour - 5 spoon 
Maida flour - 3 spoon
Red chilly powder -1/2 spoon
Jeera powder- 1/4 spoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 spoon
Hing
Bread crumbs
Coriander leaves
Salt as required 

INSTRUCTIONS 

* To begin Potato fingers ,wash the potatoes and cut into two pieces. Add the potatoes into the pressure cooker. Pressure cook it 5 minutes till get 2 whistles.

*  Peel out the skin from boiled potatoes. Add in to the large Bowl.

* Mash the boiled potatoes without any lumps.

* Add redchilly powder,garam masala powder,two spoon of corn flour,jeera powder,hing,required salt and mix it well with the mashed potatoes.

* And also add finely chopped coriander leaves mix it well.

* In a aluminum foil paper add potato mix and make roll.Then roll the aluminum paper and make a shape like roll.keep it in a refrigerator for getting perfect roll shape.

*After 15 minutes remove the potato roll from the paper cut the potato roll like a finger shape.

* This is the time to prepare dipping and coating mix.In a bowl add three spoon of corn flour and three spoon of maida flour.Add pepper powder,chilli flakes and salt.

* Add little water and mix it well without any lumps.Instead of this flour mix you can use egg white.It's gives more crispness and tasty.But here i just use flour mix.

* Now start coating the potato fingers.Add  one piece of potato finger in the flour mix in one hand,in other hand coat potato fingers in Bread crumbs.Do all the piece of potato fingers same like this.

* put all the coated potato fingers in flip flop bag and keep it in a refrigerator for 15 minutes .we can keep this in refrigerator for one week.whenever we need we can use it.

* In a hot oil,add the potato fingers one by one and fry it in a low flame.If the flame is high potato fingers colour change quickly .

* If potato fingers color gets light golden brown color ,transfer to a plate.

* Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise .Best Combination to eat with tomato ketchup only.

* Best time to serve potato fingers are at evening time.

HOW TO PREPARE POTATO FINGERS WITH PICTURES

Note:

* For coating the potato fingers,instead of flour mix you can use it egg white also.
*For long life keep the coated potato fingers in flip flop bag and keep it in a refrigerator. 
*While frying potato fingers keep the flame on low.
